Blessing of the Golf Clubs With the Golf season quickly approaching, St Paul's Anglican church will offer golfers the opportunity to have their golf clubs blessed on Sunday April 13, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. It is expected a large number of parish golfers and members of the wider community will bring their clubs to be blessed. Blessing of personal objects, pets and inanimate objects is not new. It stems from the desire to receive 'some kind of divine or supernatural aid'. In this case, help in improving a golfers game.
